Irakli Kobakhidze elected Chairman of the Georgian Dream

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, was elected as Chairman of the ruling party.

The corresponding decision was unanimously supported by the delegates of the Georgian Dream’s 9th congress.

It should be mentioned that Irakli Kobakhidze had previously held the position of ruling party Chairman in 2021 - 2024

Irakli Garibashvili resigned from the Chairman`s position on April 25.
