As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Gori Police Division of Shida Kartli Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested I.B., born in 1975, on charges of large-scale theft.

The committed crime envisions up to 10 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that the accused person illegally entered a car parked in a parking lot located near to one of the supermarkets in Gori and illegally appropriated 18,920 USD after which he fled the crime scene.

As a result of the investigative and operational actions, law enforcement officers arrested I.B. as an accused person, and fully seized the illegally appropriated cash as evidence.

Investigation is in progress under Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
