Police arrested 2 people on drug-related charges in Tbilisi

The officers of Vake-Saburtalo Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out at different times, have arrested 2 persons on charges of drug-related crimes.

The committed crime envisions up to 20 years of imprisonment.

D.Z., born in 1990, and G.Z., born in 1993, are detained on charges of illegal purchase, storage and promotion of sale of narcotic drugs.

Law enforcement officers seized “dried marijuana” prepared for sale as evidence as a result of a personal search of the accused persons and also from various locations. The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-(4) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
