As a result of operational measures and investigative actions, officers of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, arrested 2 citizens of the Republic of Ukraine, I.P., born in 1964, and B.V., born in 2004, on charges of facilitating the illegal purchase, storage and sale of a large amount of narcotic drugs by a group with prior agreement

The crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.

As a result of the personal search of the accused person, law enforcement officers also seized a large amount of the narcotic drug "Methadone" - up to 1 kilogram - from the locations indicated by them for the purpose of further sale.

As a result of the investigative actions, the police also seized materials necessary for packaging narcotics and an electric scale.

The investigation is underway under Articles 260 and 260-(4) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
