As a result of the conducted operational measures and investigative actions, officers of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested N.Sh., born in 1992 and convicted of various crimes in the past, on charges of illegally planting and cultivating a plant containing narcotic substances in a particularly large amount.

The committed crime envisions the imprisonment for a term of up to 12 years.

During a search of the residential house of N.Sh., who was arrested on charges of a drug-related crime, law enforcement officers seized 25 roots of “plant cannabis” in a particularly large amount as evidence from a special greenhouse arranged for the cultivation of a plant containing narcotic substances.

The investigation is underway under Article 265, part III of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
