Prime Minister of Georgia together with Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, attended the inauguration ceremony of the first official Ferrari showroom in Tbilisi.
Head of the Government emphasized the significance of the arrival of a flagship brand of the automotive world in Georgia, noting that it is yet another confirmation of the country’s stable and attractive business environment.
“Had someone said 15-20 years ago that a Ferrari center would open in Georgia, no one would have believed it. Yet today it is a reality. I would like to congratulate everyone on this occasion. This is a sign of the development in the country and the growth of its economy. We are proud to have an environment conducive to investment and economic activity; and today’s event-the arrival of Ferrari in Georgia-is a clear expression of that. Ferrari is a flagship of the automotive industry, a true leader and a benchmark of Italian quality and we are proud that Ferrari is now present in our country”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
He expressed special thanks to Ferrari President for Europe and Africa Renato De Poli and to the founder of Nazar Holding, Ali Nazar, wishing them continued success. Speeches were also delivered by Kakha Kaladze, founder of Nazar Holding Ali Nazar, Ferrari President for Europe and Africa Renato De Poli and General Manager of Ferrari Tbilisi Tamar Sakheishvili. The event was attended by members of the Government and Parliament of Georgia, as well as representatives of the business community.
