Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Geka Geladze held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The meeting focused on the existing cooperation between the two countries and the prospects for deepening the partnership in various directions. Attention was focused on the important transit role of Georgia and the importance of joint efforts to promote the development of the Middle Corridor.
The parties also discussed the security challenges in the region and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation to overcome these challenges.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia thanked the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for his hospitality. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev hosted Geka Geladze at the Akorda residence.
