Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Shalva Tadumadze and the Director of the Forensic-Criminalistic Department, Tengiz Sisauri, held a working meeting with David Kennedy, Head of the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).

During the meeting, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation and future plans in detail. Specifically, the conversation touched upon increasing the capabilities of the Forensic-Criminalistic Department`s chemical laboratory, equipping the laboratory with modern technologies, raising personnel qualifications, and creating a specialized continuing education module.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been actively cooperating with the U.S. Department of DTRA for many years. With the agency`s support, numerous projects have been implemented in various directions over the years.
