The Mayor of Tbilisi said today that “in partnership with Rustavi 2, the City Hall will organize public screenings of football matches of the FIFA World Cup.

"In partnership with Rustavi 2, Tbilisi City Hall will organize public screenings of all matches starting from the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup.

The matches will be broadcast on a large screen installed at Republic Square. Football enjoys tremendous popularity both worldwide and in Georgia, and this is a very welcome initiative.

I would like to express my gratitude to Rustavi 2 for this proposal. I am pleased that the celebration of world football will bring together residents of the capital at Republic Square", - said Kakha Kaladze.
