With the support of the National Wine Agency, the Georgian Grand Tasting of Georgian wine was held in Warsaw

Organized by the National Wine Agency and its contractor, the Polish marketing company People PR, the large-scale Georgian wine tasting event “Georgian Grand Tasting” took place in Warsaw.

The event, which aims to promote Georgian wine and diversify export markets, was attended by Polish wine professionals, importers, representatives of the hospitality sector (HoReCa), and the media.

The tasting featured products from 40 Georgian wine-producing companies. This event is an excellent opportunity for Georgian producers to establish business contacts with Polish importers and distributors and, consequently, increase sales.

As part of the event, Georgian wine masterclasses were held, led by the Chairperson of the State Tasting Commission of the National Wine Agency, Ana Godabrelidze; the Agency’s event coordinator, Irakli Cholobargia; and Polish sommeliers Jan Knaber and Szimon Milonas.

Georgian entrepreneurs received support from the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Poland in presenting their wines at the Georgian Grand Tasting.

It is worth noting that Poland is a strategic market for Georgian wine and has steadily established itself as one of the top five countries importing Georgian wine. The National Wine Agency has been cooperating with the Polish marketing company People PR in this market since 2022. During this period, a steady increase in Georgian wine exports to the Polish market has been recorded.
