In connection with the open screening of the World Football Cup, from 23:00 on July 7 to 08:00 on July 21, traffic movement will be completely restricted on the First Republic Square.

The temporary restriction will apply to the area of the square - the road section from the intersection of Shota Rustaveli Avenue and First Republic Square to the intersection of Merab Kostava Street.

During the restriction period, means of transportation will no longer be able to move from Rustaveli Avenue (from the Olive Tree) in the direction of Republic Square. Vehicles moving from Rustaveli Avenue in the direction of Kostava Street will be able to move only in the direction of Mikheil Javakhishvili and Merab Kostava Streets.

Vehicles moving from Mikheil Javakhishvili Street will not be able to enter First Republic Square and will continue their journey in the direction of the Tbilisi State Concert Hall. From Kostava Street, it will be possible to move only towards Rustaveli Avenue and Freedom Square.

As for public transport, there will be changes in the routes of the N359 bus and the N457 minibus. When moving from Marjanishvili Street towards Vake, the N359 bus will no longer enter Republic Square from Mikheil Javakhishvili Street and will continue its movement towards Kostava Street, after which it will move according to the established scheme. When moving in the opposite direction, the route will not change.

Also, when moving from Marjanishvili Street towards Rustaveli Avenue, the N457 minibus will no longer enter Republic Square from Mikheil Javakhishvili Street and will continue its movement on Tabukashvili Street, where it will connect with Rustaveli Avenue via Lagidze Street and then move according to the established scheme. When moving in the opposite direction, the route will not change here either.
