Rehabilitation works underway intensively on Rustaveli Avenue. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

"Currently, as part of the ongoing rehabilitation on Rustaveli Avenue, Georgian Water and Power is carrying out a full-scale renewal of the outdated water supply and sanitation networks.

The contractor company is actively dismantling existing sidewalk railings, curbs, and other infrastructure elements to prepare the area for modern standard spaces in the next phase.

Additionally, preparatory work for the rehabilitation of underground pedestrian underpasses is intensively underway.

Crews are working on-site 24 hours a day. It is worth noting that all work is being conducted simultaneously across multiple directions, significantly accelerating the project`s pace.

To minimize the movement of heavy construction vehicles during daytime hours, collected materials are hauled away and new construction materials are delivered at night. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Carrying out work of this scale is simply impossible otherwise", - said Kakha Kaladze.
