Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia together with Revaz Sokhadze, Minister of Infrastructure of Georgia inspected the Ambrolauri Arts and Culture Centre, which will undergo full rehabilitation in the near future.

At this stage, the design works for the Ambrolauri Arts and Culture Centre are underway, after which a tender will be announced for the construction and reconstruction works.

The Head of Government of Georgia reviewed the project, according to which the Arts and Culture Centre will preserve its historic appearance following comprehensive rehabilitation while also being adapted to modern standards.

"The Ambrolauri Arts and Culture Centre is a unique building that requires rehabilitation. Multifunctional spaces will be created here. It will include a venue for theatre performances, as well as museum spaces. The Ambrolauri Arts and Culture Centre houses unique exhibits and therefore it is important that all these functions are accommodated in a space that meets modern standards", - said Irakli Kobakhidze.

Following the rehabilitation, the building will become a multifunctional Arts and Culture Centre, bringing together stage performance, theatre art, folklore, choreography, museum and educational spaces.
