Irrigation water supply has been improved for the residents of 4 villages of Kareli Municipality

"Georgian Amelioration" LTD, under the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, is carrying out arranging works of amelioration infrastructure in Shida Kartli.

The distribution channels of the Tashiskari Irrigation System have been cleaned from alluvion and vegetation in Kareli Municipality, as a result of which 200 hectares of agricultural land area is water supplied.

After the carried out works, irrigation water supply has been improved for the residents of four villages - Tsveri, Aradeti, Sagholasheni and Breti, which will facilitate farmers to use their agricultural land more effectively and achieve high-quality, abundant harvests.
