Parents of first-graders will be able to purchase school uniforms starting September 1, both at physical retail points and online through the electronic platform - formebi.emis.ge.
The new platform was presented to media representatives by Levan Ghirsiashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, and Giorgi Arsoshvili, the Head of the Education Management Information System [EMIS].
The electronic platform will allow a student’s parent/legal representative to buy a school uniform online and receive the order without leaving home, at the specified address. Georgian Post will ensure the delivery of the parcel to the specific address and hand it over to the user.
Through the school uniform platform, users will receive information regarding the cost and sizes of school uniform models, as well as view bank offers and the exact addresses of retail locations.
The smooth functioning and management of the online school uniform platform is provided by the EMIS of the Ministry of Education.
