According to the Minister of Health of Georgia the medicine “Givinostat” - for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy - will be in Tbilisi at the beginning of next week.

“On July 31 of this year, an agreement was signed with the Italian company Italfarmaco - the manufacturer of the drug “Givinostat” - regarding the procurement of this medication by Georgia.

Today we have another piece of joyful news. The air waybill for the shipment of “Givinostat” to Georgia has already been presented, which confirms that the medication will be in Tbilisi as early as the beginning of next week”, - said Mikheil Sarjveladze.
