First Lady of Georgia Tamar Bagrationi, together with Sophie Bakuridze, wife of the Chairperson of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Achara, visited the Inclusive Education Centre at Batumi Public School No. 26, where she met with students with special educational needs and the centre’s staff and was briefed on the activities carried out at the centre.
The Inclusive Education Centre has been operating since 2016. Its activities are integrated into the educational process and provide students with opportunities to participate in educational and creative activities.
During the First Lady’s visit to Batumi, particular attention was paid to access to inclusive education, support for children with special educational needs and the importance of creating an environment that enables every child to develop their abilities and participate fully in public life.
