Georgia participates in the Fruit Attraction International Exhibition in Madrid

With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and organized by the Rural Development Agency, a Georgian pavilion was set up at the Fruit Attraction international exhibition held in Madrid, Spain.

The Georgian pavilion featured stands from the following blueberry-producing companies: Geo Agro Estate, Niadagi Group, Agroline, Gentry Investments, Agritech, Kolkhuri Kenkra, Agro Valley, Namiani 1, and Geo Organics.

Giorgi Avaliani, Deputy Director of the Rural Development Agency, and Aleksandre Chkuaseli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Spain, attended the opening of the exhibition: “The Fruit Attraction international exhibition serves as a vital platform for showcasing Georgian-grown blueberries on international markets and creating new trade opportunities. Our goal is to assist Georgian producers in presenting their products internationally and finding new partners”.

Aleksandre Chkuaseli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Spain, stated that the participation of Georgian companies in such exhibitions is crucial, as it offers an excellent opportunity to showcase the quality and export potential of Georgian products on the international market. The exhibition provides a valuable chance to establish new contacts and deepen trade relations. He added that the Embassy welcomes and supports entrepreneurs in promoting Georgian products.

Notably, the Georgian pavilion was visited by Mario Steta, Chairman of the International Blueberry Organization.

Fruit Attraction is a major international exhibition for the fruit and vegetable sector, held annually in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
