Applications are being actively accepted within the framework of the program to provide cash compensation to IDPs. The process began today and will continue until November 2. IDP families can submit applications throughout the country, at justice houses and community centers, where there have been crowds and queues since morning.

Participation in the program is voluntary and can be included in it all those IDP families who have not received housing or appropriate cash compensation from the state. The amount of compensation is 10 thousand GEL for each IDP member of the family.

According to David Kaikatsishvili, Director of the Agency for IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihoods, IDPs who have not yet benefited from other state resettlement programs can participate in the program.

Applications can be filled out at any justice house operating throughout the country and the process will last for two weeks.

"Today, applications for the new program announced last week have begun. All displaced persons who have not benefited from other resettlement programs from the state can apply for this program. Applications can be submitted at any justice house operating throughout the country and will last for 2 weeks. After the completion of this process, the agency will process the applications", - said David Kaikatsishvili.
