In Racha, specifically in the Ambrolauri municipality, up to 1,800 tons of Aleksandrouli and Mudzhuretuli grape varieties have been processed at this stage.

In order to stimulate private sector involvement in the Rtveli process and ensure the organized storage of the harvest, a subsidy program is being implemented in the Racha region by the government`s decision.

This year, the forecasted harvest in Racha-Lechkhumi is within the range of 3,000 tons.

"At this stage, 14 facilities are processing grapes, including 7 state-owned facilities. The population is delivering grapes without any delay", - said Givi Muradashvili, a member of the Rtveli Coordination Headquarters.
