Tbilisi City Hall hotline reform will be implemented to make the service more flexible and effective, said today Mayor of the capital.
"Citizens make extensive use of Tbilisi City Hall’s hotline services every day. Our operators answer and respond to every call, but we plan to further improve the hotline.
I would like to instruct my Deputy, Kakha Abuladze, to begin working on this issue. A few days ago, I personally met with the heads of municipal departments, district governors, the management of the Municipal Services Development Agency, and hotline representatives.
It should be noted that we frequently receive numerous calls concerning issues that require citizens to submit a written application directly to City Hall or the relevant district administration.
We also receive calls about matters that fall outside the hotline’s remit, such as property privatisation, private disputes, sporadic land registration, matters relating to culture, sports and youth, issues concerning the maintenance of private property, and others. When citizens call about these particular issues, operators naturally answer every call, which overloads the hotline. Citizens should therefore also know which issues they should call the hotline about", - said Kakha Kaladze.
