On October 24 and 25, the festival "Tbilisi Food-Gen 2026", dedicated to Georgian stuffed pastry, will be held at Orbeliani Square. Mayor of the capital announced today at the Tbilisi Municipal Government meeting.

As he noted, within the framework of the event, masterclasses on preparing traditional Georgian pastry will be held, as well as informational seminars regarding the history and traditions of Georgian culinary arts.

"The event will be organized by the Municipal Department of Economic Development of Tbilisi City Hall. A wide variety of Georgian pastry will be presented during the festival. Guests will have the opportunity to taste various types of famous or forgotten dishes. Chefs invited from the regions will take part in the festival. Within the scope of the event, masterclasses for preparing various pastries are planned, alongside informational seminars on the history and traditions of Georgian culinary arts. This festival is being held in the capital for the first time; however, I am sure it will be organized in the following years as well. We are waiting for everyone at Orbeliani Square", - said Kakha Kaladze.

According to him, attention will also be given to modern gastronomy at the festival, where chefs will present traditional Georgian flavors with a modern interpretation.
