According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia, the rehabilitation works of the bridge over the Meria River at the 9th km of the Ozurgeti-Natanebi-Ureki road of internal state importance are nearing completion.

The technical condition of the existing bridge was unsatisfactory and required rehabilitation. The bridge is 1-piece and its total length is 23.10 m.

In accordance with the project, the technical parameters of the bridge over the Meria River were improved within the framework of the rehabilitation. The load level and the length of the pier structure will be increased on the renovated bridge, which will ensure the smooth passage of water flow, while the piers and regulating walls were arranged on a khiminjovan foundation.

The rehabilitation works are financed from the state budget and its cost is 1.1 million GEL
