The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, David Songulashvili, met with Louis Torres, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the French company "Escal Seafood", and representatives of "Abbe Timeo".

"Developing local production, expanding export potential, and deepening cooperation with international partners are important priorities for Georgia. Such partnerships help position Georgian products in international markets, introduce modern knowledge and expertise into production processes, and expand opportunities for local entrepreneurs. We aim to foster the establishment of new production capacities and enhance the competitiveness of Georgian products through state support programmes and a favourable investment environment", - said David Songulashvili.

"The company "Abbe Timeo" operates in the snail processing sector in Georgia, and its cooperation with the French company "Escal Seafood" aims to facilitate the marketing of Georgian-produced goods in international markets.
