Georgian analysts comment on NATO secretary General"s announcement that NATO continues to expand. The experts say that one of the main issues is democratic reforms.

" If there are problems in terms of rapid modernization and building democratic institutions, including free media, pressure on the court if there are question marks in these regard it raises questions about corruption,"- said Batu Kutelia, a Vice President of the Atlantic Council.

According to analysts, the Secretary-General"s statements should be significant messages for Georgia.

"It is good, when the Secretary-General says that the Alliance"s door is open for Georgia. The NATO officials never had problems in this regard unless there are such issues as lack of media freedom, backslide of democracy, question marks about independence of court. Western partners , skeptics will always have weapons against Georgia, "- says Giorgi Rukhadze, A founder of the Strategic Analysis Center.
