The author of cyber attack on Rustavi 2"s web site has been detained. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has released information.

"The goal was to find out what kind of protection Rustavi 2"s web site about had against this kind of cyber attack,"- the detainee said during interrogation.

The Criminal Offense Department of the Central Criminal Police Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation on the fact of cyber attack on Rustavi 2"s website on September 19 under Article 284 of the Criminal Code of Georgia,, which implies unauthorized access to the computer system.

"As a result of the operative-investigative activities carried out by the law enforcers the person, born in 1999 residing in Tetritskaro region,who committed cyber attack on Rustavi 2 TV station was detained.
