According to "Courier" Megis Kardava is detained

As it has become known to the "Courier" , Megis Kardava, former head of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia has been detained today.

Megis Kardava was on the list of wanted by the Interpol at the request of the Georgian side. The Chief Prosecutor`s Office of Georgia has charges against him on several high-profile criminal cases.

Kardava has been sentenced to nine years imprisonment in absentia.
