The Azerbaijan court began to discuss the case of the journalist Afghan Mukhtarli today. The trial is underway for the second hour already
A lawyer of Afghan Mukhtarli will address the judge. According to him, Azeri journalist has been kidnapped by Georgian law enforcers from Georgian territory.

The supporters of the Azerbaijani journalist are in the court. According to them, the detention of Afgan Mukhtar is related to his journalistic activities.

The journalist is accused of illegal crossing of the border, smuggling and disobedience to border guards. The process is attended by representatives of the Human Rights House and Article 42 .
