Mikheil Saakashvili has not entered State security Service for interrogation

The third president of Georgia and former governor of Odessa Mikheil Saakashvili has refused to enter the State Security Service for interrogation. As Mikheil Saakashvili explained to journalists, a summons envisages two procedural investigative actions - interrogation and obtaining samples for examination, which is a violation of law.

The leader of the "New Forces Movement" addressed the Security Service with a request to send a different summons for the two investigative acts. Saakashvili has already delivered the request to the Chancellery with his lawyers.

Saakashvili says that the Security Service wants to take a sample of his voice along with interrogation, which will be attached to the case as an evidence. Saakashvili expresses readiness to give voice sample if he receives a new summons in accordance with the law .
