19-year-old Temirlan Machalikashvili, who was wounded in a special operation in the Pankisi Gorge, was transferred from Telavi Referral Hospital to St. Michael"s Hospital in Tbilisi.

Machalikashvili remained in the resuscitation department and was connected to the artificial ventilation. Temirlan Machalikashvili has a brain wound and he has undergone a neurosurgical operation for several hours.
According to the family, during the special operation the young man was sleeping, the door to his room was broken and he was immediately shot in the bed. According to the father of Temirlan Machalakashvili, the Special Forces allegedly arrived in his house by mistake.
