Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated the Patriarch on the jubilee and wrote on his social network pahe that His Holiness had
carried out valuable work in 40 years of his service.

"Today we celebrate the 85th anniversary of our Patriarch, His Holiness and Beatitude, Ilia II, with great love and respect that I would like to bow to the priceless and devoted work of his holiness that he had done in 40 years for our country and nation,"- . wrote Kvirikashvili.

"I want to wish his holiness, longevity, health and long-term work for the benefit of the nation and the country."
