The President of Georgia met with US senators and congressmen in Brussels. At the meeting the sides discussed the visit of George Margvelashvili to the United States and prospects for the upcoming NATO summit.

The President has addressed US Senators and Congressmen with a special focus on Georgia"s issue at NATO Summit 2018.

"The main goal of the President is to talk about the national security issues of Georgia again, there will be a number of marathon meetings ... The main task of the president"s visit will be to strengthen the US government`s and the US Congress` support for Georgia"s security issues," said the Assistant to the President of Georgia , the head of the National Security Council, David Rakviashvili.
