The President of Georgia has addressed the Prime Minister and the Speaker of Parliament with an official letter regarding the initiative of the US to support Georgia.

According to the president"s administration, Giorgi Margvelashvili expressed willingness for consultations with the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Parliament.

According to the President"s administration, the President has already held communication with the PM and the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Secretary of the National Security Council of Georgia Davit Rakviashvili said that due to the recent Russian actions, Georgia should join the West and adaptation a supporting act will be an adequate response to the existing challenges.
