Protest rally in Mestia - Kakhaber Sabanadze, deputy interior minister arrived for the negotiations with locals.

According to Kakhaber Sabanadze, the investigation is in progress and everything is done to detain the criminal.

The protesters are gathered in the center of the city and are protesting the construction of the Chala HPP.

The gathering does not allow construction equipment to move. One of the 7 -month- pregnant woman lay down on the road in protest.

Mestia blames the government for lies and warns them not to use police force against them, as otherwise the processes may become unmanageable.

The locals say that special units are mobilized in Mestia. Mestis are talking about the waves that may result in the construction of the HPP.
