The rally is underway in the center of Mestia. The central road is still blocked. Recently, the population poured gasoline on the road and set fire to it. Locals are protesting against construction of "Mestia Chala HPP" and are not going to retreat.

Blocking the road they do not allow special techniques to reach the construction site. At the entrance of Mestia, in the village of Lenjeri remains a special unit.
