"Our women and children were stabbed in the streets of our capital" - President paid tribute to the memory of the deceased on April 9

The President of Georgia has put a wreath on the memorial of victims of the April 9 tragedy.

According to Giorgi Margvelashvili, the well-being of those countries, who ended the cold war peacefully and now live better is somehow a merit of nine April"s heroes and members of the national movement .

""Our women and children were stabbed in the streets of our capital . It is about the cold war that ended and ended peacefully. I would like to remind everyone that here in Georgia the fight for independence and the fight against the Soviet Union was carried out by these women and children and the then national movement and this war was not cold here," - said the president.
