Shooting in Zemo Vedzisi - condition of one of the wounded is serious

The condition of one of the youth wounded as a result of the shooting in Zemo Vedzisi is very bad - he was operated late last night due to injuries inflicted in the lung.

The emergency brigade brought 5 people to the Republican Hospital at the end of the day. Among the injured are Lasha Sajaia, former member of Georgian youth rugby team and his girlfriend.

The relatives of the wounded cannot speak about the causes of the incident.

In parallel, investigative activities continued on the spot till late. According to the Interior Ministry, the incident occurred on the basis of conflict.

Some of the eyewitnesses say that the shooting was carried out from the car.
