The Ambassador of Georgia in Germany responds to the initiative of the German Ministry of Internal Affairs to recognize Georgia and Armenia as safe countries.
The main reason for the initiative is to accelerate the process of processing applications for granting asylum.

Elguja Khokrishvili believes that Georgia meets all criteria for recognition as a safe country.
