After hot days, forecasters predict a sharp deterioration in weather. Specialists predict flooding of rivers. It is not excluded that landslide processes will be activated in the mountainous areas of the country.

Weather forecasters say that bad weather will last for a few days in Svaneti, where the disaster is raging for the second day. The sharp deterioration of weather is expected all over Georgia today.

"Rain is expected in most regions of Georgia and among them in Svaneti region. In some cases, In the evening, the rain will increase intensively. The air temperature has decreased compared with yesterday and the downturn will continue, "said Dodo Gvazava, chief specialist of the National Environmental Agency.
