Film director Giorgi Shengelaia is going to participate in the presidential election. Shengelaia appealed to the Central Election Commission recently.

An initiative group is complied by politician Petre Mamradze, Gia Chubabria, Avto Mamatsashvili, Nugzar Nozadze and Giorgi Shengelaia"s close friend Irakli Meladze.

Shengelaia will start to collect signatures in the nearest future.
