Kirkitadze is charged officially

Davit Kirkitadze, one of the leaders of United Opposition Davit Kirkitadze is officially charged.

As expected, the Prosecutor"s Office accuses him of violating Article 353 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, resistance to police and hindering to protect public order.

The detained leader of the opposition does not plea guilty and starts a hunger strike as a symbol of protest.

According to the lawyer, only police statements are used as evidence against Kirkitadze.
