Preventive measure for former governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti should be defined today - Levan Shonia was charged yesterday. Investigation against him started on the fact of receiving a gift prohibited by law. According to the agency, the investigation found that in May 201, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Governor"s Governor Levan Shonia requested to send 10,000 dollars to the person named by him, which will be later given to Levan Shonia. The former governor is facing imprisonment for up to two years.
