Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia responded to official data released by Geostat according to which the inflation rate was 1.5% in 2018 .
Giorgi Kobulia explains that inflation, which was determined in 2018, does not exceed the level of 3% accordingly, he does not see the problem in these processes.
"The expectation is that inflation will be within the target which is planned by the central bank, which is up to 3%," - Giorgi Kobulia said.
According to official data published by Geostat, 1.5% inflation was reflected on everything. Prices have increased on food products, as well as utility bills.Another area where prices are rising is health care. In this direction there are increased prices for services in hospitals as well as outpatient services.
