Traffic movement on Kala-Ushguli and Saglolo-Chiora- Gebi motorway is banned

Due to the avalanche threat , all kinds of traffic movement is prohibited on the Kala-Ushguli section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili motorway.
As the Roads Department reports , movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats is restricted on Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili highway due to snow and ice.
According to the Roads Department, traffic movement is allowed only with anti-skid tire chains on the km90-km186 section (Dizi-Ushguli road).

Traffic movement is free for all kinds of transport on the km1-km70 section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili highway.
