Intensive snowfall and avalanche threat - movement is prohibited on some motor ways

As the National Environment Agency reports movement of all types of transport is prohibited on Gudauri-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway idue to intense snowfall and avalanche threat.
Traffic movement will be carried out without restrictions on Mleta-Gudauri ( from village Kvemo Mleta to 85th km of road) section. Patrol police will coordinate and supervise movement on the ground. Traffic movement is free for the rest of the road.
