The opposition demands to summon the Chief Prosecutor and Heads of State Security Service in the Parliament.
Parliamentary minority will make a statement today at the plenary session. The MPs demand explanations from the heads of law enforcement agencies why the organizers of the distribution of videos depicting private life have not been held for years.
"The spread of personal life videos is not the first case , when politicians become targets of political blackmail and nobody is punished."It already indicates that we are dealing with a serious systematic problem, so the Chief Prosecutor and the Head of the state security are obliged to report to the MPs onthe situation," said Otar Kakhidze, member of "European Georgia".
Leader of the parliamentary majority Archil Talakvadze thinks that this issue is in the competence of the investigative bodies and it is not necessary to make political statements.
Whether Vakhtang Gomelauri and Shalva Tadumadze will come to the parliament in the next few weeks will be revealed when the prosecutor"s office and the first persons of the state security get an official demand from the opposition.
