"The lifelong appointment of judges in transitional democracy countries is related to certain threats,"- Koba Narchemashvili, a member of the parliamentary majority said in connection with the legislative initiative of Beselia, who demands suspension of lifelong appointment of judges in the first and second instances of the court.

8 MPs support the initiative: Zviad Kvachantiradze, Aleksandre Erkvania, Gedevan Popkhadze, Koba Narchemashvili, Levan Gogichaishvili, Levan Koberidze, David Chichinadze, Otar Chrdileli.

" We want to postpone this process until 2024 in the legal frameworks of the current process, "- Narchemashvili said.


According to the member of the parliamentary majority Levan Koberidze, this is an issue which is very important for the fair development of the court.
