The Minister of Education takes moral and legal responsibility on the case of Ia Kerzaia, principal of the public school N6 in Zugdidi.
The Minister made a statement in the Parliament but Mikheil Batiashvili has not mentioned during the three-and-a-half session of the committee that the agency, which he headed, made a mistake.The minister insisted that the agency had reacted urgently on the basis of anonymous letter indicating the violations in the school.
The opposition has repeatedly reminded the minister that Lavrenti Kiria, an author of anonymous letter who wrote about violations in public school # 6, is a non-existent person."

herself requested from the Ministry of Education much earlier to correct the shortcomings mentioned in the letter.
The opposition is convinced that in connection with Ia Kerzaia, Mikheil Batiashvili fulfilled the political order and he should resign.
Members of the ruling team tried to protect the Minister of Education. Leader of the parliamentary majority made statement. Archil Talakvadze described the statements of opposition members as speculation.
