Professor Gocha Barnov was released from the seminary. Barnov was dismissed as the theologian publicly congratulated the Ukrainian Church with the acceptance of autocephaly.
Barnov wrote about it on his Facebook page.According to the decision of the Scientific Council, the lectures were suspended on the pretext that he was the enemy of the Patriarch and other churches. But the theologian says that in reality the reason for this decision is different.
"The Patriarchate and academy are afraid of educated future generation who have the ability to express their own opinions freely," wrote a former lecturer in his Facebook status.
