The clergy says that the Scientific Council had recently reviewed the statements made by the Theologian, including Gocha Barnov"s statement, where he spoke about recognition of the autocephaly of Ukraine.

Father Bidzina says that Gocha Barnov"s statements are unacceptable for the members of the Council because he criticizes the Georgian Church and the government for being pro-Russian.
According to the cleric, the Board will take the decision after the meeting with Gocha Barnov.
